Compensation
Pay Range: $12.77 – $18.40 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Responsibilities- Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to the parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
- Check out customers in a quick and friendly manner; handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Assist with transaction completion when the express lane is not occupied and the counter is busy.
- Check in, price, and display stock according to planograms or displays; keep merchandise on front‑floor display fronted, full, and clean daily.
- Make display changes and price adjustments according to company guidelines.
- Ensure all sale signs are in place; maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display.
- Remove all sale material when a sale ends and restore original pricing.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
- Work with the manager to complete the store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
- Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front‑floor security.
- Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
