Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking

- Keep the dairy department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demands while achieving efficiency and productivity standards.
- Smile and greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure dairy products are fresh and saleable by following rotation standards.
- Tag or sign product correctly and handle spoiled or damaged merchandise per company procedures.
- Maintain condition of sales floor, cooler, and backroom, ensuring general sanitation and compliance with health and OSHA requirements.
- Dispose of trash properly and follow cleaning schedules.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, checking‑in, breaking‑down, and storing deliveries (training provided).
- Review orders to manage inventory levels and minimize losses by following time and temperature guidelines.
- Report damages or discrepancies to the Dairy Leader or store management.
- Assist with baling cardboard or other duties if over 18 years old and trained (training provided).
- Cooperate with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store operation.
- Continuously improve job performance and utilize all company‑provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May be called upon to assist in other departments.
This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- Completed or working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
Hourly rate starts at $14.00 and can rise to $20.00.
