Ice Sales Delivery

Manager of Vendor Sales

This role supports concessionaires who need to purchase ice directly from the State Fair of Virginia It involves keeping accurate counts of ice purchased and delivery to concessionaires

• Answer calls from concessionaires requesting ice
• Record all bags of ice requested by concessionaires
• Deliver bags of ice to concessionaires
• Notify Manager of Vendor Sales when ice supply gets low

• At times the position can involve tasks that require travel on the facility grounds such as delivering credentials packages and or supporting event setup needs
• Provide general support to other departments as needed

Entry Level

The position will include some but not necessarily all the above primary and additional duties

High school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Punctuality
• Ability to work multiple days in a row

Applicant must be available September 24 October 4 2026

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb into and out of a semi truck

• Outdoor environment
• Position will begin on September 24 2026
• Schedule will include day evening and weekend shifts during the State Fair September 25 October 4 2026
• Position will end on or around October 4 2026
