Our client, a leader in landscape design and maintenance, seeks a Territory Sales Manager for their Central Virginia territory based in Milford, Virginia. This role focuses on expanding the client base towards diverse sectors like retail, municipal buildings, and any commercial properties in need of landscaping. The ideal candidate understands the nuances face-to-face selling, is adept at building relationships, and can effectively recommend landscaping solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

Outside Sales/Territory Sales (Field Services sales exp. req.) Responsibilities
  • Develop new business in landscape maintenance, work, and construction
  • Target diverse sectors including retail, municipal, and other commercial properties
  • Navigate and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Conduct property assessments for landscaping needs
  • Drive 100% client renewal rates by maintaining long-standing relationships
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with the branch team to deliver seamless service execution
  • Participate in local community events to enhance business visibility
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in the territory
  • Provide timely reports and feedback on sales activities to management
Outside Sales/Territory Sales (Field Services sales exp. req.) Qualifications
  • 3+ years of field service sales experience required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% locally required
