What You'll Do:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll focus on generating new client relationships through outbound outreach, cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry engagement. Once new business is secured, our Recruiting Managers take over day-to-day account management, allowing you to stay focused on what you do best: developing opportunities, winning new business, and driving growth.

New Business & Prospecting
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.
  • Build relationships with executives, HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, and operational decision-makers across industries such as Building Services, HVAC, Facilities Management, Technical Services, Construction, and Staffing.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients, consistently developing new opportunities while managing active sales conversations through the partnership process.
Market Growth & Brand Presence
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies to expand Lunova's presence within key industries and geographic markets.
  • Represent Lunova at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and client meetings, with occasional travel based on business needs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, hiring challenges, labor market activity, and growth opportunities to identify new prospects and business opportunities.
Collaboration & Opportunity Management
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client hiring challenges, workforce needs, and business goals.
  • Partner closely with Recruiting Managers to ensure a seamless transition of newly acquired client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, reporting, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years of proven success in business development, outside sales, or B2B sales, with a strong track record of generating new business and building a sales pipeline.
  • Proven success in prospecting, networking, cold calling, and relationship development. Existing professional relationships and industry connections are a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage decision-makers at multiple levels.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable operating independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience using CRM platforms is a plus.
