Sales & Estimating Coordinator

At Sun Design Remodeling Specialists, we're not your typical remodeling company. We are currently looking for an organized, tech-savvy, and proactive Sales & Estimating Coordinator to support our seasoned sales team behind the scenes.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities may include:

• Partner directly with Project Consultants from initial concept through contract signing and project hand-off to Production
• Build accurate, profitable project estimates by coordinating trade RFPs, in-house labor/material quotes, and special-order pricing
• Work in Builder Trend to keep estimates, selections, and project data complete and current
• Prepare contracts and scopes of work, and help present them to clients in a way that reinforces value and a great experience
• Own the pricing and processing of non-routine change orders
• Focus on ongoing budget tracking and value engineering throughout the design process with both Project Consultants and Designers
• Represent Sun Design at trade walkthroughs, job huddles, home shows, open houses, and other community events
• Stay current on remodeling industry trends, product knowledge, and local permitting/code requirements across Northern Virginia

• You're organized and detail-oriented, but you don't lose sight of the big picture
• You're a self-starter who can manage multiple projects, deadlines, and interruptions without dropping the ball
• You communicate clearly and professionally, whether you're talking numbers with an Estimator or presenting a contract to a client
• You enjoy working cross-functionally and know that great projects happen when departments talk to each other
• You're comfortable with numbers and estimating logic, and you take pride in getting the details right
• You're proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); experience with Builder Trend or similar project management/CRM tools is a plus
• Background in home improvement, remodeling, construction, or design-build is a strong plus — but not required if you're a fast learner with strong sales-support or estimating experience

Requirements

• Must be computer savvy
• High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Must live within a commutable distance our Clifton, VA office
• Ability to travel locally to job sites, trade walkthroughs and events as needed
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Prior administrative, sales support, or office experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, or construction/remodeling environments is a plus
