Help lead the pre-opening group sales effort for the Mid-Atlantic’s most exciting new resort!

Kalahari Resorts is bringing a world-class meetings and convention destination to Virginia, and we’re building a team of sales professionals who are ready to drive business from day one. Our new resort will feature 907 guest rooms and 150,000 square feet of convention space, in a prime location on Interstate 95 and US 1.

We’re hiring a Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in hotel or convention center group sales. This isn’t an entry-level opportunity—it’s a high-impact role for a proven producer who thrives on building relationships with corporate, government, and third-party planners.

You’ll own your market segment, manage a full pipeline, and work with an experienced, results-oriented team that’s focused on one thing: booking meaningful business.

• Manage and grow a defined market segment (corporate, government, or third-party)
• Generate new group business through prospecting, networking, and site visits
• Work cross-functionally with Revenue Management and Convention Services
• Track sales activities and forecasts in Delphi or similar CRM
• Represent the resort at trade shows and industry events

• 3-5 years of hotel, resort, or convention center group sales experience
• Demonstrated success working with meeting planners in corporate and government sectors
• Confidence in building new business pipelines and closing complex deals
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills
• Experience working in a high-volume, pre-opening or high-growth environment is a plus

• Base salary range: $75,000 - $115,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Uncapped incentive plan based on performance, percentage to goal, and tenure
• Top earners often exceed 200% of base salary within their first year with Kalahari’s "Best in Class" incentive plan
