Lab Technician (Part-Time)

Brightpoint Community College invites applications for a Part-Time Lab Technician to provide lab assistance to faculty and support the science laboratories (biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics, and funeral services – including the funeral services embalming lab). Current science offerings include courses in anatomy and physiology, biology, microbiology, chemistry, physics, embalming, and environmental science. The person in this position is responsible for assisting the lab manager in ordering lab equipment and supplies, providing laboratory support to full- and part-time faculty, and performing his or her duties using safe practices.

This person will assist the lab manager and support the teaching laboratories at both Brightpoint campuses (Midlothian and Chester). The person in this position should have the ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, and/or weekends. This part-time position will not exceed 29 hours a week.
