What You'll Do:
Provide customer service within a healthcare location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and assist with screening, visitor direction, and authorized entry procedures in support of healthcare staff, patients, and guests.
Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
