Location: Richmond
As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
* Monitor entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles, following access control procedures and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
* Support daily operations by completing routine reports, communicating with site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and helping to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A guard card/license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
