** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, assist with visitor direction, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.

+ Assist with security-related responses involving medical facilities, including alarm conditions, after-hours activity, and/or requests for support from staff while maintaining a courteous presence.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
