B G Crane Services is hiring a dependable and certified Crane Operator to safely operate mobile and stationary cranes for structural steel erection and related projects. This full‑time, on‑site role involves transporting, setting up, and operating cranes while adhering strictly to company policies and OSHA safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for operating heavy equipment with accuracy and precision.

Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials with precision and safety.

Interpret load charts, hand signals, and verbal directions to ensure proper operation.

Conduct and document daily crane inspections (pre‑ and post‑operation).

Set up cranes safely, using appropriate blocking and outriggers.

Assemble and extend boom sections as required by project scope.

Start and maintain crane engine functions during operations.

Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials to/from job sites.

Complete service reports, job tickets, and other required documentation accurately.

Identify mechanical issues and communicate needs for maintenance or repair.

Comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

Class A CDL with TLL & LAT endorsements required.

Working knowledge of OSHA crane operation and safety requirements.

Strong communication and teamwork skills; must be responsive to signal direction.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and safety in every task.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot on‑site issues.

Ability to remain on foot for up to 12 hours per day.

Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Comfortable with climbing ladders and accessing elevated work spaces.

Must work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years of crane or boom truck operating experience preferred.
