Appalachian Aggregates, LLC, a CRH Company, is located in southern West Virginia. This is a highly skilled position that involves operating equipment in an open pit mine operation. Applicants must have experience operating equipment such as Motor Grader, Bulldozer, Excavator, and Front End Loader.

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in pit and mining operations.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary basis as needed.
• Report any problems to your manager.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Must pass a pre‑employment “Fit to Work” physical assessment.
• Must partner with other quarry employees as instructed by the facility manager to ensure daily schedules are met.
• Attendance required according to attendance policy to ensure crew ability to operate at a normal efficiency level.
• Physical ability to operate equipment under extreme temperatures and for extended hours.
• Initiative to perform or assist with other positions for job completions.
• Attitude and cooperation: always maintain a courteous and professional manner with coworkers, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work various times during the day, night, or weekend hours at various locations.
• Ability to follow MSHA/OSHA safety guidelines as well as those set forth by company policy.
• Ability to follow instructions of supervisor/facility manager to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
