Snowmaker

Job Summary

The Snowmaker position serves as a team member for snow production within the ski area. Daily tasks include maintaining snow making equipment and ski trails to provide an excellent snow surface for skiing, riding and tubing. This position focuses on working outside for extended periods in inclement weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.

• Must be at least 18
• Good communication skills
• Safety‑conscious decision‑maker
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on sloped terrain
• Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions

• Heavy equipment operation experience
• Plumbing experience
• Electrical experience
• General mechanical aptitude

Days:
Spring, summer, and fall – Monday to Thursday. Winter, based on weather and opportunities to make snow, weekends and holidays as needed.

Hours:

7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Winter, varies, including evenings and overnights.

• Assist with snow making equipment repair
• Install and retrofit new and existing snow making equipment
• Monitor manual and automated snow making equipment to maximize efficiency
• Other duties as assigned by management
