Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients to ensure their satisfaction with repairs and maintenance services.

Repair and Maintenance Technician Duties
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and logic controllers.
  • Read and interpret schematics to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and ensuring proper functionality.
  • Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs.
  • Document repairs and maintenance activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
  • Assist in residential painting tasks as needed to support overall maintenance efforts.
Repair and Maintenance Technician Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools is essential.
  • Previous experience with CMMS is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
