We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to support complex building maintenance, construction, and repair initiatives within a professional, fast‑paced environment. This role goes beyond traditional carpentry, offering the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate cross‑functionally, and make a visible impact on large‑scale facility operations. • Perform construction, installation, alteration, and repair of buildings, equipment, and furnishings
• Build custom cabinetry, shelving, and specialty items
• Conduct preventive maintenance across building systems and furnishings
• Lead and manage building maintenance projects, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors
• Review blueprints and technical documentation to ensure accurate execution
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Diagnose structural issues and recommend repairs, upgrades, or improvements
• Oversee and maintain equipment maintenance programs and checklists
• Train team members on equipment use and maintenance procedures
• Provide technical guidance across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, maintenance)
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations
• Assemble, disassemble, and repair furniture, fixtures, and partitions

• Proven experience performing at the Journeyman Carpenter level
• Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, tools, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Experience managing or supporting projects and vendor coordination
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to lift and handle materials/equipment 50+ lbs
• Valid driver’s license required

• Completion of a Carpentry Apprenticeship Program or equivalent training
• Experience in commercial maintenance environments
• High school diploma or equivalent

The pay rate for this position is between $30.00 and $41.75 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
