Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

• Perform minor to intermediate inspections, repairs, and replacements on all Walmart equipment (trailer, tractor, yard truck, shop equipment, service vehicles) following company guidelines.
• Use technical and electronic diagnostic equipment to assess maintenance, repair, and replacement needs; identify needed parts and possible solutions; consult with others; select the best solution; and conduct repairs and replacements.
• Diagnose HVAC systems and other automotive systems, following DOT guidelines and requirements.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and in writing.
• Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling; monitor safety compliance; collect and prepare samples for analysis and shipping; complete appropriate paperwork.
• Identify and perform warrantable repairs; enter accurate information into the maintenance system; complete warranty tags and retain parts; and create and process warranty claims to ensure proper credit.

• 2 years of experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair, OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Brake inspection qualification per FMCSA Section 396.25.
• Vehicle inspection qualification per FMCSA Section 396.19.

• Microsoft Office certification.
