Job Duties:
- Perform plumbing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Responsible for performing skilled maintenance, installation on plumbing and steam systems.
- Keeps track of materials needed works on drain systems and make sure system are flowing correctly.
- Complete corrective and preventative work orders on plumbing and steam systems.
- Responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties required of Zone Mechanics which involves aspects of carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing to keep assigned zone in working order.
- Able to assess potential problems, hazards and opportunities to maintain assigned Zone assets to prevent unplanned impairments.
- Maintain and perform maintenance on all records/ WO, PM, & CM.
- Maintain service maintenance records, work orders, and requisitions and other miscellaneous records as needed or requested by administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in the full range of repair and construction in the area of plumbing/pipe fitting/steamfitter.
- Experience with installation of standard and correctional plumbing fixtures, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform small repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and painting.
- Valid Virginia driving license.
