Energy Monitor / Electrician Position

Omexom is among the leading technical contractors in the power market. The Omexom Technical & Urban Solutions South division is now seeking an energy monitor / electrician for meter assignments in the Kristiansand region.

As an energy monitor / electrician, you will work towards the contracts we have for Glitre Nett. Your daily work will consist of contact with end customers and installers, as well as planning your own workday and performing tasks in the field. Meter assignments mainly consist of new installation on direct and indirect meter systems, troubleshooting, checking, and correcting the meter system.

Assignments are both with private customers, industry, and the distribution network on NSO (Nettstasjonsovervåkning).

Work tasks will include, among other things:

• Responsible for effective execution of assignments so that they are delivered at the right time and quality with the documentation requirements set by the customer
• Responsible for following current rules and regulations in the execution of assignments
• Maintain good OHS focus on all assignments
• Plan own workday, contact customers and installers
• Installation of power meters at end customers
• Check if meter systems are in accordance with REN
• Troubleshoot and correct meter and NSO systems
• Other operational tasks BU-en has at any time

Qualifications:

• Relevant craft certificate gr. A, B, energy monitor or electrician
• You must master fluent Norwegian both orally and in writing
• Driving license class B, preferably BE
• Experience from AMS meters and knowledge of the distribution network is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement
