Position: Plumber Technician - Fauquier County
Location: Bealeton

Plumber Technician performs duties in repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing problems and or failures in plumbing systems.
Installing various domestic water and vacuum systems.
Documents job related activities for company records.
Repairing various systems or components to include toilets, sinks, disposals, vents, water softeners, water lines, sewer lines, water heaters, etc.
Repair of pipes, ensuring items are functional and in safe working condition.
Tests for leaks in new and repaired systems.
Measuring, cutting, threading, and installing pipe and pipe fittings.
Assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings.
Assists in locating and marking position of pipe installations, connections, or fixtures in structures.
Maintaining a properly clean and stocked service vehicle.
Maintaining tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools in a safety-conscious manner.
Participates in all company-sponsored training classes.

Following safety policies and procedures.
Abiding by all company standards of performance and code of ethics.
Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all clients and vendors.

Required Skills

Valid drivers license
Clean driving record
Plumbing experience with 5+ years
Ability to perform multiple technical tasks to include operating equipment and power tools, labor skills in all seasons, lift over 50 pounds, hand dig to expose underground utilities, and adhere to safety practices.
Ability to work in environments exposed to sewer smells, extreme weather conditions, extended hours if needed, exposure to dust and debris, etc.
