Mechanic Trainee
Dominion Generation is seeking qualified applicants for Mechanic Trainee positions at our Possum Point Power Station. As a Mechanic Trainee, you will be responsible for the following:
- Learn to perform maintenance on power station mechanical equipment.
- Perform overhauling and maintenance of major industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, turbines and other rotating equipment.
- Overtime - planned and emergency, is required.
- You will be placed in a standardized skills development program.
- Individual will be part of the emergency response organization and some travel (for periods of up to a month or more) may be required to support other station outages.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $30.98/hour.
