Service Technician - Bedford, VA

Boone Tractor is a growing Ag Dealership in southwest Virginia and West Virginia. We are looking to add an experienced Mechanic/Technician to our Bedford, VA team.

A strong candidate for this position must have the ability to:

• Understand and follow instructions in English and read service manuals
• Efficient using a computer/tablet
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Diesel experience helpful
• Small engine experience
• High school diploma/trade school
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand and walk
• Ability to hear and communicate verbally to and with others
• Comfortable working in an open shop area with loud noises at times
• Team player
• Available during open hours of the store which would include 8 to 12:00 on Saturdays during the busy Spring and Summer season
• Valid Driver's License (must be insurable by our insurance company)
