Job Description
We are hiring for entry level and above technicians who can be a part of the construction phase of Data Centers. You will assist the higher level techs and the team leads in building out the infrastructure to include: pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, and build server racks.
Skills Details
1. Fiber experience (Installing cable trays, pulling cable/fiber, punch down, termination)
2. Experience working with hand tools
3. Construction experience following blueprints, building, etc.
1. Drop cable down a wall using fish tape or other method. Route cable through data center. Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables. Suspend and support cable correctly:
Cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, Bridal rings, Trapeze.
2. Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
3. Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.
4. Terminate low-voltage devices.
5. Follow prints.
6. Adhere to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
7. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Punctual and team player, able to flexible on hours great opportunity to get into the telecommunication space and learn the trade with little to no background . This is a career changing role for someone. With this experience you can also become a Data Center technician.
Over 2.5 million square feet of data center space. This is an ongoing construction site. Must be comfortable with heights.
Pay; $20hr-$23hr
OSP
+ Contractors will be required to work off blue prints, utilize hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks/closets, and also pulling fiber optic cable from point a to point b.
+ Drop cable down a wall using fish tape or other method. Route cable. Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables. Suspend and support cable correctly:
Cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, Bridal rings, Trapez
+ Build out server rows (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
+ Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.
+ Will terminate low-voltage devices. All contractors will be trained on all of this
+ We are looking for technicians who are excited about installing, running, terminating, fiber optic and copper cable for a large on-going initiative supporting one of the nation's largest technology companies in the US
+ This is a huge ongoing construction site. There are a ton of different trades out onsite.
+ Hours will vary depending based on where individuals are placed. Teams typically work 4-10hr days (M-TH) or 5-10hr days (M-F) with occasional OT (Potential Saturday work) Never on Sundays. Teams can start as early s is daytime work.
+ MUST SHOW UP ONTIME. If late they will send you home. ZERO TOLERANCE.
Tools required:
○ Steel toe Boots, Basic hand tools is a plus, All other PEE will be provided, Hardhat, safety vest, glasses, etc.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
