Excel Equipment, Virginia’s premier CASE construction equipment dealer, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Ashland, VA
. Openings for mobile and in-shop mechanics!

If you have experience repairing heavy equipment or construction equipment, Excel Equipment wants to hear from you. Experience repairing CASE equipment is a plus.

• Demonstrate previous successful mechanic experience
• Repair and maintain heavy equipment, including compliance with OSHA regulations
• Work with Ag/Construction equipment knowledge of transmissions, engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Read, understand, and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and manufacturer service manuals
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and diagnose issues
• Apply strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a sense of urgency
• Work in varying weather conditions
• Operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Communicate effectively with manager, co-workers, and clients
