What is the Opportunity?Reporting to theSite Manager, theRiggingSME,serves as the technical authority for all lifting, rigging, and material handling activities. This position provides oversight, planning support, training, and field guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of complex lifts and rigging operations. The Rigging SME works closely with project management, engineering, craft supervision, crane operators, and rigging personnel to develop lifting strategies and resolve rigging challenges.
This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. As a result, applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.
What You'll Do Here:- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
- Serve as the technical expert for all rigging and lifting activities.
- Review and approve lift plans, rigging configurations, and critical lift strategies.
- Verify compliance with customer requirements, site procedures, OSHA regulations, and company safety programs.
- Provide field support and coaching to supervisors, foremen, riggers, and crane operators.
- Evaluate load characteristics, center of gravity, load paths, and rigging requirements.
