Mechanical Installer Technician

Pay: $24.00/hour

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with tools, blueprints, and hands-on installation projects? Aerotek is seeking motivated Mechanical Installer Technicians to support the installation of mechanical systems, chutes, interfaces, and related components within a large warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with mechanical assembly, construction, industrial maintenance, or installation experience who are looking to grow their career in a fast-paced and safety-focused setting.

• Install chutes, mechanical systems, and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) according to project specifications.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble, install, and secure mechanical and electrical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks including fitting, fastening, aligning, and securing components.
• Install wires, cables, and interface components while working with both large and small parts.
• Measure and mark materials using tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure precise installations.
• Support quality assurance efforts by verifying proper alignment, function, and accuracy of completed installations.
• Assist with general labor duties such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing tools and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment when required and qualified.
• Work at heights of up to 6 feet while following all applicable safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with advisors, service teams, and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements and report hazards or concerns promptly.

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a professional setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical assembly, installation, or technician roles.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience performing mechanical, electrical, or cable installation work.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 6 feet.
• Experience in construction, carpentry, industrial manufacturing, general labor, maintenance, repair, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of electrical components and schematics.
• Familiarity with quality control or inspection processes is a plus.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
