Fitness Technician

Overview

LIVunLtd is looking for a Service Technician and/or Service Apprentice to join our team and work throughout the Richmond and Tidewater area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations
• Inspect, calibrate, clean, and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits
• Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to the customer
• Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order
• Provide communication to the customer regarding scheduling and progress of their equipment
• Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines
• Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
• Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
• Follow Company Uniform Policy

• Be able to lift/move fitness equipment and parts up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance and clear an MVR check
• Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology

The Service Technician / Apprentice position with LIVunLtd pays $18-$24/hr based on experience and location of service. All of our Service Technicians are also eligible for a competitive performance-based bonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.
