Residential HVAC Service Technician Put Your HVAC Experience to Work With a Team That Has Your Back
Comfortable Climate Heating, Air & Plumbing is a locally owned company serving Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and the Middle Peninsula. We're continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician who can independently diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and take care of customers from start to finish.

What You'll Handle- Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and controls
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance evaluations
- Identify repair needs and clearly explain options and recommendations to homeowners
- Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards for workmanship
- Perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes
- Document completed work, recommendations, and system information accurately
- Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory
- Deliver a professional, respectful customer experience on every call
- Work safely and effectively in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical spaces, and outdoor conditions
- 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Strong ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems
- Solid electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work comfortably in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
- Dependable work habits and strong attention to detail
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Pride in your workmanship and ability to take ownership of your calls
- Additional certifications such as NATE, OSHA trainings, or other industry certifications are a plus, but not required
- $29–$40/hour + commission opportunities
- Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime
