ASM Industrial electricians will work in a variety of environments and plant sites. They will install and repair electrical components and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Working as a team member or alone to complete projects.
- Observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes.
- Making decisions based on technical documents.
- Performing quality testing and inspections.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Journeyman license / certification required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
- Required to work with minimum supervision/guidance requiring a strong self-motivator
