Location: Mineral

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings/design change procedures to install piping systems
  • Install, modify, and/or repair piping systems, pipe hangers, and supports
  • Use power and hand tools including, but not limited to, small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication.
  • Ability to prep piping for welding, know/perform different types of bevels, and post weld ISI prep.
  • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3 years minimum of industrial pipe fitting experience, nuclear experience a plus
  • Ability to pass basic written and hands on pipefitter pre-employment test at home office
  • Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours.
  • TWIC card a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and working extended shifts
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in varied body positions
  • Work at heights and in confined or restricted spaces
  • Work in outdoor and indoor environments under varying weather and site conditions
  • Work on uneven, slippery, or rough terrain in active industrial or construction settings
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including fall protection and respiratory protection when required
  • Maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively to work safely around moving equipment and hazards
