Welder

CalmHR Inc is seeking a Skippers Shop Welder I to support client-focused projects in our professional, quality-driven environment. This entry-level role performs MIG/TIG welding, basic fabrication, and repairs following drawings, codes, and CalmHR standards. You'll set up and maintain welding equipment, inspect welds, and document work while maintaining a safe, organized shop. Working closely with project managers and technical staff, you'll help meet schedule and quality goals and grow your skills in a collaborative, mission-driven culture that values clear communication, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication for client and internal projects per specifications
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to prepare materials and plan work
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and fixtures safely and effectively
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to codes and Calm
• HR standards
• Follow safety, OSHA, and company procedures; maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to meet deadlines and quality goals
• Document work performed and materials used in accordance with Calm
• HR processes
• Assist with basic repairs, modifications, and fit-up of metal components and assemblies
