Shamrock Foods Company is seeking an Electromechanical Technician Lead to support our high-volume wholesale food distribution operations. In this role, you will lead day-to-day maintenance activities, performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and calibration on conveyors, packaging lines, refrigeration support systems, and facility equipment. You'll plan and execute preventive maintenance, coordinate work orders, and coach technicians to ensure safety, uptime, and food-safe operations.
Partner with operations to reduce downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold our family-owned culture of integrity, teamwork, and long-term employee development.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance activities for electromechanical systems in a high-volume distribution facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, packaging lines, motors, drives, and control systems.
- Perform and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Use CMMS to prioritize, document, and close work orders and maintenance tasks.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians on troubleshooting, safety, and best practices.
- Collaborate with operations and refrigeration teams to maintain food-safe, reliable equipment.
- Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, prints, and OEM documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, LOTO, and company safety procedures.
- Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability.
- Coordinate parts, vendors, and contractors to complete repairs efficiently.
