Job Description Service Tech  Full Time  Position Summary  As a Service Tech with Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative, you will be the face of our team - safely performing outstanding installation, maintenance, and repair of propane and/or oil burning systems.

This role offers independence, variety, and the opportunity to work with modern equipment across multiple product lines, including propane, heating oil, kerosene, diesel, and gasoline.  Along with each customer visit, you will provide usage instructions for all equipment and appliances service. Review account details, collect payments or provide invoices, and confirm future service with customers. Through excellent service and customers referrals, you will be part of our success in growing and maintaining FAE market share.

Key Responsibilities  Service      
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of propane systems, equipment, and appliances.

• Gather and analyze information to diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot systems.

• Provide usage instructions for all equipment and appliances serviced.

• Review account details, collect payments or provide invoices, and confirm future service with customers.

• Depending upon location, may load and deliver supplies of propane and/or other fuels according to standard operating procedures.  Customer Interaction      
• Work with customers to ensure timely completion of projects      
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed      
• Represent FAE in a professional manner with customers and business partners      
• Promote FAE market share through excellent service and customer referrals  Safety & Compliance      
• Follow all company safety procedures as to not cause harm to yourself, customers, co-workers, equipment, or inventory.

• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Operate all equipment according to FAE policy and government regulations. Comply with OSHA regulations, work rules and policies.  Qualifications  Required      
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

• Petroleum and/or Propane Certification (or ability to obtain)      
• Commercial Driver's License (Class

B)      
• Hazardous Materials and/or Tanker Endorsement (or ability to obtain)      
• License in HVAC, Liquid Propane Gas Fitter or related trade is a plus      Preferred          
• Prefer two (2) or more years of experience with installation and repair of propane or oil-based heating systems          
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail          
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively -
