Responsible for maintaining locking systems to ensure the security of the facility, performing efficient repairs and maintenance on all locks throughout the premises. Duties include providing necessary repairs and conducting preventive maintenance for all locking systems and devices within the facility to ensure optimal functionality and security at all times. Completing paperwork and assists with maintenance in other building & grounds areas as needed.

Considerable knowledge in the repair and maintenance of locks and locking systems. Skilled in the use of a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints related to locking systems. Demonstrated ability to supervise the work of others. Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Programs and preventative maintenance programs.

Completion from vocational/technical school, completion of apprenticeship and/or sufficient on-the-job training (OJT) in trade activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Holds a certificate of completion in lock repair from a trade school with hands‑on experience in a related field.
