What You Will Do:

• Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair propane systems, oil-burning equipment, appliances, and related heating equipment with a consistent focus on safety and quality.
• Diagnose general repair concerns using hand tools, testing equipment, blueprints, and sound troubleshooting practices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control inspections that help customers avoid unexpected equipment downtime and maintain safe, reliable systems.
• Explain equipment operation, service findings, and next steps clearly to customers while delivering professional, respectful service in the field.
• Support fuel delivery or loading activities at applicable locations while following established operating procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.

What You Will Bring:

• You have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience installing, servicing, or repairing propane, oil-based heating, HVAC, or similar mechanical systems.
• You can safely troubleshoot while applying strong preventive maintenance skills.
• You bring a safety-first mindset, dependable work habits, and the ability to work independently while representing the cooperative well with customers.
• You can safely operate a motor vehicle and meet applicable company motor vehicle safety requirements.
• You are willing to obtain required petroleum or propane certifications, a Class B commercial driver’s license, and Hazardous Materials and/or Tanker endorsements as permitted and required for the location.

Preferred Technical

Experience:

• Experience with HVAC service, propane appliance installation, liquid propane gas fitting, diesel or gasoline equipment, plumbing, welding, fabrication, carpentry, painting, or building maintenance is valued.
• Familiarity with fireplaces, wall heaters, room heaters, appliance conversions, and fuel system installations will help you make an immediate impact.

Pay and Benefits:
