Job Summary
Seeking a Controls Technician to support the deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical control systems in large-scale data centers. The role supports BMS, BAS, and EPMS platforms responsible for cooling, environmental, and power infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and validate controllers, IPCs, HMIs, sensors, and field devices.
- Support commissioning, startup, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot control systems, communication networks, and monitoring equipment.
- Investigate alarms, faults, and performance issues.
- Maintain system documentation, asset records, and configurations.
- Support preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives.
- Follow safety, operational, and change management procedures.
- 3+ years of experience in Controls, Building Automation, HVAC Controls, Instrumentation, Commissioning, Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with controllers, sensors, relays, and communication networks.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and network testing equipment.
- Experience with BMS/BAS/EPMS platforms.
- Previous Data Center or Critical Facilities experience.
- Low-voltage copper and fiber infrastructure experience.
- ISA CCST certification or military technical background in electronics, HVAC, controls, instrumentation, or power systems.
