General Statement of Duties

Provides professional, intensive, specialized continuing case management services involving concentration in the areas of child and adult welfare; performs a broader scope of duties requiring routine utilization of greater professional knowledge and independent application of professional skill; performs other duties as assigned.

Our Department also offers an AI-powered assistant designed specifically for frontline professionals, helping reduce administrative burden and saving staff up to 8 hours per week so they can focus on human-centered support and engagement.

What You'll Do

Child Protective Services Practice
  • Conduct CPS family assessments and investigations
  • Engage children, families, schools, law enforcement, medical professionals, attorneys, courts and other community partners
  • Use a trauma-informed and child-centered approach in all interactions, completing trauma screenings and CANS assessments
  • Assess safety, risk, and protective factors to support informed decision-making
  • Transfer cases for ongoing services when appropriate
  • Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings & joint investigations with law enforcement and licensing authorities
  • Coordinate and participate in Family Partnership Meetings
  • Prepare affidavits, petitions, and court reports, Provide testimony in civil and criminal proceedings
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality records in our CCWIS (OASIS)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide child welfare on-call coverage approximately 14 nights annually (when fully staffed)
  • Participate in shelter team operations during emergency response activations
  • Assist with additional assignments and special projects as needed
