Health Connect America, Inc. seeks a Foster Care Development Specialist to expand and support therapeutic foster care services. In this role, you will recruit, train, and coach foster parents, complete home studies, and ensure homes meet licensing and safety standards. You will partner with clinicians, case managers, and community agencies to promote stable, healing placements for children and youth. Responsibilities
- Recruit and screen prospective foster families through outreach and community partnerships
- Coordinate and deliver foster parent orientations and training sessions
- Conduct home studies and assessments in alignment with state and agency standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with clinical, case management, and community partners to support placements
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, and crisis response to foster families
- Monitor placement stability and child well-being, escalating concerns as needed
- Assist with licensing, re-licensing, and compliance activities for foster homes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case staffing
- Contribute to program improvement, data tracking, and outreach strategies
