Foster Care Development Specialist

Health Connect America, Inc. seeks a Foster Care Development Specialist to expand and support foster homes for children and youth. In this role, you will recruit, screen, and train prospective foster parents, guide them through licensing, and ensure compliance with state and agency standards. You will collaborate closely with clinicians, case managers, and community partners to match children with safe, therapeutic homes, monitor placements, and provide ongoing coaching and resources to foster families.

This position requires strong documentation, communication, and outreach skills, and a passion for serving vulnerable children and families.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard prospective foster families
• Coordinate foster home licensing and compliance documentation
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to foster parents
• Collaborate with clinicians and case managers on treatment planning
• Monitor placements and address safety or stability concerns
• Facilitate training and educational workshops for foster parents
• Maintain accurate case notes and reports in agency systems
• Partner with community agencies and referral sources to grow foster network
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
• Assist with crisis response and resource linkage for children and families
