youth for tomorrow is a 501 (c) (3) and a faith based, non-profit organization, founded in 1986 by hall of fame football coach joe gibbs. The organization is large, diverse, experienced and committed to serving at-risk youth.
we are a growing agency and are in search of caring and compassionate individuals who want to be a part of making a difference in the lives of the youth in our care. In our residential shelter program, we serve youth in a short-term placement who are awaiting reunification with family or sponsors in the u.s. The foster care recruiting and training coordinator assesses the needs of youth in foster care, coordinates the recruitment and retention of foster care parents and conducts training for new and current foster families.
rolesand responsibilities

- problem solving - comprehensively analyzes problems and develops effective and efficient solutions. Is one who develops solutions rather than just identifying problems.
- computer skills- has a strong knowledge and abilities with regard to computer skills. Takes the initiative to keep current in this area. Ensures departmental efficiency by being self-supportive in this area rather than expecting staff to be the primary resource of technical abilities.
- communication - communicates clearly, listens effectively; keeps others informed of necessary and factual information; deals effectively with conflict, and avoids negative gossip.
- relationships - develops and maintains effective working relationships with others, including other component directors and managers. Treats clients and staff with courtesy, respect, dignity, fairness, honesty, & presents a positive public image.
- teamwork and cooperation - works cooperatively with others, keeps others informed of necessary and factual information; and works together as opposed to working separately. Facilitates the operation of a team of which he/she is part and promotes teamwork across departments.
