Role:
Mobile Architect
Location:
McLean, VA
FTE Only
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, high-performance mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define mobile architecture and technical strategy for hybrid and native applications
- Design and develop hybrid apps using Ionic, Capacitor, and Cordova
- Build and optimize native mobile components using Swift (iOS) and Java (Android)
- Ensure app performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
- Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor development teams
- Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and third-party tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, product, and QA
- Strong experience with Ionic, Capacitor, and Cordova frameworks
- Proficiency in Swift for iOS and Java for Android development
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with REST APIs, mobile CI/CD, and app deployment processes
- Knowledge of performance optimization and mobile security best practices
