Full Stack Java Developer SME; TS​/SCI Poly

Position: Full Stack Java Developer SME (TS/SCI with Poly Required)
Location: Dulles

At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Full Stack Java Developer, a typical day will include the following duties/skills:

Responsible for working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. Successful candidate will be expected to provide software expertise in one or more of these areas:
Java application integration, java enterprise services on an AWS Platform.

Single Page Applications (Angular

JS, JavaScript, Type Script, CSS, HTML), JSTL, Responsive

* Web Design (RWD),jquery, jquery UI

* Back End

Skills:

Microservices, REST, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JDBC, Oracle Database.

Web Server:
Tomcat

* Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products,

* Documented

Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD Routine

* Documented

Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)

* Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems

* Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks

* Implement the product's lifecycle:
Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance

* Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications

* Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration

* Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

* Experience working in an Agile development environments
