We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically strong Mid‑Level Test Engineer with 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience in Selenium automation to ensure the quality and reliability of our web‑based applications. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable automated test solutions and work closely with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Selenium Web Driver automation scripts for functional, regression, and cross‑browser testing
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure cross‑browser compatibility using drivers such as Chrome Driver and Gecko Driver
- Integrate automated tests with frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Pytest
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify test scenarios and resolve defects
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and ensure application quality
- Document test results, log defects, and perform root‑cause analysis
- Participate in code reviews to uphold automation best practices
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes, tools, and standards
- Work with new AI‑driven automation techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6‑8 years of experience in web application test automation using Selenium Web Driver
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or Java Script
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Pytest
- Solid understanding of automation architecture, design patterns, and scripting best practices
- Hands‑on experience with Git and defect‑tracking tools such as JIRA
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, or similar platforms
- Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST‑assured)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow)
- Work on impactful, high‑quality products in a collaborative team environment
- Hands‑on exposure to modern automation frameworks and Dev Ops practices
