Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer – Java Application to design, develop, and support enterprise applications in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, microservices architecture, and REST API development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications
• Build and support microservices and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and Dev Ops teams
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Support CI/CD and deployment activities

Required

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS and containerized environments
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kafka or event-driven systems
• Exposure to healthcare or regulated environments
• Experience working in Agile teams

Compensation:
The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs. The posted range reflects the Sky's reasonable estimate at the time of posting and does not guarantee a specific salary or rate.

Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and applicable contractual and business considerations.
