Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to design, develop, configure, integrate, test, and maintain enterprise business applications supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The successful candidate will work as part of a cross-functional Agile product team to deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and user-focused solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. The role will support both ongoing application enhancements and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Develop and enhance Dynamics 365 model-driven applications and business process solutions.
  • Develop solutions using Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
  • Configure entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, dashboards, security roles, and other Dynamics components.
  • Develop custom plugins, JavaScript, APIs, and other extensions as required.
  • Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365, Azure services, external systems, portals, and enterprise data sources.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Participate in application modernization, technical-debt reduction, and migration activities.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, integration issues, performance problems, and production incidents.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA engineers, UX professionals, Dev Ops engineers, and other technical team members.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure solutions comply with applicable DOJ security, privacy, accessibility, and technology standards.
  • Maintain technical documentation, configuration documentation, and knowledge-management materials.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and/or model-driven applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Dataverse and Power Platform.
  • Experience with Power Automate and workflow development.
  • Experience with Power Pages/portals.
  • Experience developing integrations using REST APIs and other enterprise integration technologies.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certification.
  • Experience with Azure Government and/or Microsoft 365 GCC High environments.
  • Experience with Azure services and cloud-based integrations.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government applications.
  • Experience with application modernization and cloud migration.
  • Experience with Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD, automated testing, and secure software development.
  • Experience working with case-management or workflow-intensive enterprise applications.
Clearance

U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain the applicable federal Public Trust suitability determination.

Compensation
