The successful candidate will be available to serve as a cafe monitor, 3 hours per day, providing student supervision in elementary cafeterias. This is an hourly position with no additional benefits. This position reports to the Principal.

• Help set up the serving area to begin meal service.
• Help students through the meal line as needed, assisting with milk, condiments, and pin numbers.
• Supervise children while they eat and respond to needs or requests from students as needed.
• Monitor the cafe to maintain a healthy noise level, providing a suitable lunch‑time environment.
• Clean cafe tables during and after lunch shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate, able to read and follow directions.
• In general good health, able to stand for long periods of time (3 hours) and lift 10 lbs frequently and 30 lbs occasionally.

This position only works when school is in session (students present), 3 hours daily with no benefits. Performance evaluations are conducted by the Principal.
