Pay Structure: Hourly, Paid Bi-weekly
Position SummaryThe Hotel Shuttle Driver Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s shuttle transportation services. This includes scheduling, supervising drivers, ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness, maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations, and delivering excellent guest service. This position plays a critical role in supporting the hotel’s reputation for reliability, hospitality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise all shuttle drivers.
- Prepare and manage driver schedules to ensure adequate coverage for guest needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and coach staff as needed.
- Shuttle Operations:
- Oversee all daily shuttle operations to ensure timely and courteous guest transport.
- Ensure shuttle coverage for airport pickups/drop-offs, special events, and local transportation needs.
- Monitor shuttle activity logs and implement process improvements.
- Vehicle Safety & Maintenance:
- Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, fueled, and well-maintained at all times.
- Schedule regular maintenance and address repairs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and mileage.
- Guest Service:
- Ensure drivers provide exceptional service and uphold the hotel’s service standards.
- Respond quickly to guest inquiries, complaints, or transportation requests.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all drivers have valid licenses and meet DOT/local/state transportation requirements.
- Maintain documentation such as driver logs, incident reports, and inspection forms.
- Monitor fuel usage and shuttle efficiency. Ensure vehicle insurance and registration is valid and up to date.
