Pay or shift range: $15 USD to $16 USD. This is an estimated pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The Fleet Laborer supports and assists the Fleet Department personnel in a continuous effort to provide Xylem field operations with the proper, clean, safe, and working equipment in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate for this position will:
- Be reliable and follow through on assigned tasks;
- Keep the shop and yard clean and orderly;
- Be dependable – will be at work every day on time and will complete duties accurately and timely;
- Take initiative, requiring minimal supervision;
- Always maintain safety and quality as a #1 priority;
- Communicate openly, promptly and effectively with Fleet Technicians and Fleet Management.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the shop, yard, vehicles and equipment as it arrives at the fleet facility.
- Transport equipment, vehicles and parts as requested by Fleet Management
- Inspect vehicles and equipment upon arrival at the shop
- Provide assistance with parts running and pick-up for job sites and the Fleet Department
- Wash and detail vehicles and equipment upon arrival/prior to departure to or from the Fleet facility
- Neatly line up/park equipment and vehicles in Fleet facility/yard parking areas
- Empty all garbage cans in shop areas and the yard daily
- Assist with shipping and receiving of equipment, parts and supplies going into and out of the shop daily
- Other duties as required
