Feed​/Poult CDL Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Feed/Poult CDL Driver to join our team in Hinton, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting feed and poults to various locations, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport feed and poults to farms and other designated locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and reports.
• Load and unload feed and poults safely and efficiently.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, farm personnel, and management.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience as a CDL driver, preferably in agricultural or feed delivery.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
• Ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading feed and poults.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Familiarity with the Hinton, VA area and surrounding regions is a plus.

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
