Stockroom Clerk

Job Description

If you are an experienced stock room clerk looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. Located in Orange, VA, you will work closely with warehouse, production, and planning teams to meet shipping/receiving deadlines, receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders, and load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize inventory and maintain clean warehouse areas.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training/certification provided if needed).
• Perform basic computer tasks and use inventory systems.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

You bring dependable work habits, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, accurate, and efficient material handling. You are committed to keeping the shipping dock running smoothly even on the busiest days and operate with a safety mindset, ensuring operations flow as they should.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Forklift experience.
• Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
